What To Expect

Prior to your first treatment, the nurse practitioner will consult with you to assess if you are a candidate for Dysport/Botox injections. The consultation will allow you to express your questions and concerns.

Dysport/Botoxinjections are injected into the desired area of concern by injecting a very fine needle into the skin. You can expect a small amount of pressure at the injection site. The injections may sting for a few seconds however pain is not experienced.

You may experience:

Redness in the treatment area up to 1 hour which is usually resolved within 2 hours

Swelling in the treatment area can last for 1 hour
-
Bruising in the treatment area can last for 2 to 5 days
Who Is Not Suitable
Anyone who:

Is Allergic to BTX-A

Active infection in the area to be injected

Is pregnant or breastfeeding
Post Treatment Care

Avoid facial treatments immediately after treatment

Avoid facial massage pressure or any ‘facing-down’ treatments for 24 hours

Avoid prolonged sun exposure for 24 hours

Avoid strenuous exercise for 4 hours
